Today's stories must be told in multifaceted, compelling ways to engage audiences and sway hearts and minds.

In 2016, I worked on four multimedia projects for the Sage Grouse Initiative. The goal: tell the stories of 4 ranchers implementing conservation projects on their operations to improve Greater sage-grouse habitat on private land across the West. Over the course of 6 months, I traveled to Nevada, Idaho, Utah, and Oregon to record these stories. What resulted is a collection of Rancher Success Stories which include a series of articles, photography, and videos that share the unique stories of these dedicated land stewards. All videos were directed and produced by myself and edited by Karuna Eberl. Watch the videos in the slideshow above, then check out the complete stories in SGI's Featured Ranchers Archives, as well as in my personal archive.
